I didn't say you had to follow rules to write people. I said it lowers the general quality of the website to fill with typo-filled garbage that would take 10 SECONDS TO FIX.

I already told you, do what you want with your little club. If you want to put that shit out there without glancing over it, it reflects badly on you, and is your choice to make.

Have at it.

this entire website is devoted to art, and expressing one's self. and i agree that people should go through and proof read things, but if they miss some things, like im sure, even you mister perfect, do sometimes. i, for one, have taken many a high level english classes, and hardly follow any rules when i write poetry. because i dont write for other people, i write for me.
as for people taking stupid pics, yeah that annoys me. but if i were to recite a beauiful poem, you wouldnt hear the spelling errors, so why should it be such a big deal?
you write well, but people have to learn, and they often have to learn through trial and error, dont scorn people for trying to find a way to express themselves.

I just looked at the gallery (albeit briefly) but it seems you are interpreting 'Emotional' as (I am reluctant to use this word) 'Emo'.
You do know emotional is a beautiful word which encompasses many mant more feelings than 'I am a teenage cliche with painted nails and loud music'

There are some wonderful emotional pieces on this site expressing more positive feelings...why can't you include them?

Hey, it's your group. If you were at the helm of the Titanic and decided, on idealistic whim, to ram it head-long into an iceberg, I'd be all for that as well. Just try not to look puzzled when no-one actually respects anything that comes out of your group.

We're all humans, we're young and maybe far away from perfect - that applies to the admins and also to our members! But personally I think art don't has to be perfect... even if there are such big mistakes in it, the expression is still there. My opinion!
Sure, we could mend the mistakes before submitting but it would be more helpful if you would go to the artist and give contructive criticism to him so he can learn from it.. cause, again, - nobody is perfect!

This could become a very, very long discussion -.-
It's hard to explain the idea behind this club, but I really don't think that EVERY work on DA would fit into our gallery... that's rediculous.
For example.. a macro shot of an eye or maybe a picture of a flower - it can be a very pretty work, but in which way should that be "emotional"?! Just my personal opinion...
You may be right, that this group is very general, but not as general as you think
